The following are samples of original, commissioned ketubot (Jewish ritual marriage contracts) that were done for specific couples.  My ketubot are mostly papercut with a watercolor background, or painted in watercolor and/or guache (opaque watercolor), and calligraphed by hand in waterproof ink on archival, acid-free paper.  I can also combine papercut and paper sculpture, or papercut and watercolor on a ketubah.  If you are interested in commissioning a custom ketubah, I would be more than happy to consult with you to create a beautiful and unique piece of art that reflects your individual tastes and values.  I will work with almost any text, from traditional Aramaic to egalitarian and same-gender, in both Hebrew and English.  As with any custom piece of art, a minimum of 2-3 months lead time is preferred to complete the work, however, rush jobs are available for a slightly higher fee.  All prices depend on the amount of text and intricacy of the work involved.  Please call or email me for a consultation.
